This Toby has had a makeover and been updated. lots of veg variety and good quality too. We go there regularly, Thank you for taking the time to write this review on us. We then got out side to find we had received a parking ticket! Plenty of free parking on site, clean and tidy restaurant, very pleasant staff. Not knowing the area we called at this Toby on Bank holiday Sunday through looking up Toby's on the phone. Map updates are paused.

Busy Monday night but they fitted us in. The pub is in a lovely setting by the canal, with a nice view of moored canal boats. Potatoes were shrivelled and cold as was most of the veg.This was my 2nd visit to this Toby, last visited back in May. The bill arrived quickly, and was very reasonable. The vouchers we have expire at different times, so sorry that you found this a slight issue.

Another customer asked to speak to the head chef, he then appeared rather disgruntled that he had to explain why there was no food, his comments " I can't help it if people come up and take 5-6 sausages instead of a couple" and " what do you want me to do about it" were rude and not at all like the usual brilliant service we have received on previous occasions.

The selection looked as though they had been under the heat lamps too long. The restaurant was about a third full, everything seemed fine until we went for food, there wasn't any!
