The blade is beautiful and M390 is one of the best blade steels you can buy. excellent materials, excellent blade steel, nice weight and feel. The blade comes sharp, doesn't show marks, and has great lockup and retention. That aside this is a beautiful and well-made knife but one that I may eventually part with. UPDATE: I loved this knife until I tried to take it apart, and suffered the Kershaw curse of Loc-Tite + a free-spinning pivot recessed flush in the handle.
The Kershaw Link had to be part of my collection for M390 blades. If you want to intimidate this would be a good knife for that. I can whip the link out of my pocket and my index finger just rests on the spur naturally. The Link is very comfortable to handle and hold. The only thing I wish it had was some jimping for grip on the back of the blade. M390 is a smooth steel, watch the video sharpening your knife BHQ. It moves surely and smoothly every time. The assist feature opens the knife with considerable authority. I have been very happy with this knife. May scratch more easily but it's a tough knife - it'll look better the more you wear on it. The handles are good. I was also thinking about getting one of those Italian blades but you know? I picked up this knife a year ago (along with the dividend M390) and they were gone in a week or so. I finally had to wedge tiny slivers of metal into the gaps around the pivot. Razor sharp and the blade holds an edge great. experience. Assisted action is just right. enlarged lanyard hole is great and can accept double stranded paracord for removable lanyard (loop it through and cinch it on rather than being tied onto the knife) The flipper has jimping and a nice angle that doesnt chew your thump or finger up, and if you call kershaw they will send you a deep carry clip which causes this guy to ride very nice in the pocket and totally out of view. I just got mine today and I can honestly say its just as amazing as the regular Links with 420HC! I put my own mirror finished edge on it and it's even sharper than it was, and it came very sharp.
And I love my BM and Spydies. The Link is available in aluminum and glass-filled nylon (GFN) handles with tanto and drop point blade options. I feel strongly that this size of knife is ideal, the way it fits in both the pocket and hand is simply sublime. it's taken over the spot of knives I've paid twice as much for... You should buy one... Or two lol. I *think* (if memory serves) this will be my first Kershaw "speedsafe" type of knife.

I will always provide a great product at a great price and provide fast shipping. Great blade shape with a belly for slicing. Can't pass up. Too bad this was a limited run. The stonewashed finish and shape is not only pleasing to the eye but also very effective. I loved the fact that I could get a knife in M390 at such an attractive price point. On cheaper steels, these hard plastic and glass fiber straps dull a knife instantly. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question. I'm not sure if Kershaw can keep making this knife at this price point but I'd love to see them keep it in some form whether it's bumped up to ZT or kept in Kershaw's line. I have the Benchmade Barrage 581, which is also M390 as well as the Bradford Guardian 5 (another truly beautiful piece of work).
