Maxis became the new winner in Video Experience and also moved from the Good (55-65) to the Very Good (65-75) category by improving its score by 5.5 points since our last report.

Opensignal’s 4G Coverage Experience is a measure of how Opensignal’s mobile subscribers experience 4G coverage on an operator’s network. Voice App Experience for each operator is calculated on a scale from 0 to 100.

+/- numeric values represent confidence intervals. Maxis also led in our 4G Upload Speed sub-metric with a score of 9.2 Mbps. With this increase Maxis is now almost 8 Mbps faster than its closest rival Celcom.

This means users on Maxis’ network now enjoy faster loading times and only occasional stalling while streaming video on their smartphones.
