Back to the roots! Oldest church in Quebec, and maybe in Canada! When we visited, we stayed at the Fairmont, had a few days to walk about and see the sights. Try the Civilization museum nearby--it's free on Wednesdays in the Winter. The cobblestone plaza veers up and down and off in all directions for an exploration of what people lived like hundreds of years ago. :). It's down a hundred steps from the Upper Town, but well worth the visit. Lots of very nice shops, museums and great eating places nearby. A beautiful city rich in Canada's history, legacy and culture. In 1981, the chapel was designated a National Historic Site of Canada. The Quebec City is fantastic place to visit, the people is friendly. A must see. Place Royale is very small with charming patio restaurants around the historical church.

Her Majesty's Royal Chapel of the Mohawks in Brantford, Ontario is the oldest surviving church building in Ontario and was the first Anglican church in Upper Canada.It is one of only three Chapels Royal in Canada. Lovely all around. a historic chapel, restaurants, boutiques, craft centre, museum, all on cobblestone Streets, always plenty of people walking around, nice ambiance, We were pleased with our trip.
