I loved the noon check out on Sunday. The hotel is located in a great area, close to restaurants and shops. We loved it & hope to return very soon!!!!! We are really proud to be the oldest hotel still in activity in Canada, since 1870!

We pride ourselves with the historic charm our rooms offer : its a bit like a time-travel in the heart of Nouvelle-France, but with all the modern comfort needed! Avoid at all means. The buffet, although not huge, was adequate and fresh. The bathroom was good, my only complaint being that the towels were a little scratchy but I would certainly stay here again. of the Grande Allee. We were very delighted to learn upon our arrival that we had been upgraded to an executive room at no extra cost! The staff was excellent. We are excited to know that your stay at our hotel was a success! Very decent size and on the top floor although without a view (back yard with just buildings around).Had dinner included in the package, which was quite nice as well although aged waiter had an attitude, the source of which we failed to understand. The room was quite small but it had everything you needed, including a desk with a view if you are able to get a nicely located room. The public lot is a block away and almost the same price. We got the top floor rooms which are newer and I think bigger.

Experience the scenery and fresh mountain air at any one of these historic hotels. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept on (apparently they just replaced them in the past 6 months) and the hotel staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating. Jazz club was nice at night and well attended.

Being a busy season in Quebec we have booked a room in Clarendon having paid a premium rate.Room was indeed very nice with super comfy bed.

I guess it was coming from the fact that the dinner included was a set menu and not ala carte.Updates n check out we were really surprised as the bill came with some more taxes that we were not aware about.

The bathroom was good, my only complaint being that the towels were a little scratchy but I would certainly stay here again. Lots of hot water. Would have liked to grab a drink after checking in after a long drive but the bar was not open-- it was around 4pm.You have to valet your car or park in the public lot.
